I’ve decided not to respond to Boris’ girlfriend.  And I want to thank all of you crazy guys and gals for showing me your support.  A few of you had shown interest in the video, and it’s really not that spectacular: I mean, it’s just one guy assisting another guy remove his shirt.  Nothing threatening or sexually explicit about it.  However, it appeared to have been an emotional bane for one strongman.  To be fair though, Boris never did contact me nor put his two cents in.  The thing is, I did not want to risk getting my YouTube account suspended (as I’ve seen similar things happen to other channels — LFBears, for one).  I just did not want to chance Boris’ girlfriend complaining to YouTube about such a harmless, and not to mention, public, video clip.  I’d rather sacrifice one video than losing them all.

But thanks to puppyjoe, he had uploaded that video in his DailyMotion page.  Thank you for being more courageous than I am, puppyjoe!  BIG HUGS!

1996.  Is that even considered a “classic”?  Anyway, Andrei Chemerkin (1996 Olympic Weightlifting Champion) was a massive Russian weightlifter that I had a major crush on.  The photo above is quite possibly a popular and an iconic image, especially to his fans.

I tried to upload the video of the screenshots from the left but it was so blurry that it’s
not even worth it.  The screenshots look somewhat clear as I had to “doctor” them.

Like Ron Josol, Edwin San Juan is also a Filipino stand-up comedian.  I remember him being thin about a few years ago, but he appeared to have matured into a cute cub.  I think that bald head makes him even sexier…

Anyway, I definitely need to post these great comedy routines about racial stereotypes (as that Boris Haraldsson exchange has left a bitter taste in my soul).  Stereotypes are supposed to be funny.  They’re not meant to be taken literally…

Ron Josol is a dashingly handsome Filipino comedian from Toronto, Canada.  He’s huskier than most Filipinos that his looks almost makes him appear Polynesian than Asian.

I’m still debating whether to respond to Boris’ girlfriend.  Join the “bearmythology group”?  What group is she talking about?  Oh wow, I released Boris’ full name!  Wow.  Again, I am the cause of all this.  I posted that video clip “because [I feel that] its gay”?  Hey lady, make up your mind.  Does this have nothing to do with “my gayness” or not?

I just hope that Boris’ girlfriend stumbles upon this blog and gets frustrated at my inconsiderate posting of her YouTube reply.  Not only that, I hope she requests that I remove this photograph as well.  I mean, God-forbid, he is not only a strong man competitor but a father AND a personal trainer.

After cooling off from that “Dear Homophobia, From Intolerance” email I got yesterday, I’ve decided to post something more positive.  You know, yin to the yang, Apollo to the Dionysus, and all that sweet thesis and antithesis stuff…

Here’s an independent pro-wrestler who goes by the name of Communist Cothern.  If you did not know anything about him and judged his appearance and venues he would wrestle in, you’d probably make an assumption that he’s a homophobic redneck.  Check out this video then check out the one comment he made about “gays.”

“What’s wrong with being gay?”

Call me simple, but I love the big, woofy guy already for asking that question to such immature and homophobic YouTube posters.  Not only that, he gets insulted about his weight as well.  But, he’s truly a champ for keeping civil with his comments.  Short and sweet and to the point.

And, yes, he is indeed very, very cute…

And, for the record, just because the following photos are “pretty gay looking” (I mean, there’s a Sunkist soft drink in the background: GAY!), Mr. Cothern is a straight man.  Check out his MySpace page and YouTube page.

Communist Cothern is also involved in a tag team called “Gentlemen Thugs.”  His partner is Shane Morbid, who is also very cute (love the beer belly).  I’ll be posting more about him later, but, in the meantime, here are some great photos of him.

I just deleted a Boris Haraldsson video from YouTube.  You see, someone had created a YouTube account today so that she could email me a very sweet and polite request:

hi you have a video on your channel that has Boris Haraldsson and i am a personal friend of his and was wondering would you maybe remove the video because he has been contacted by many males thinking that he has some relation to your channel and video he is constantly emailed and harassed by people who have tried to contact him through the content of the video

thanks please get back to me if necessary

Believe, me, I did get back to her, because it was indeed necessary…

I will delete it, but I’d like to ask a few questions:

1. If a woman, like yourself, posted this video, would that make the video acceptable?  Would it be okay if he gets harassed by women?

I really just can’t stand all these intolerance and discrimination against gay men.  Furthermore, I have no control over what other people say to other people.  How did they even contact Boris?  I did not provide his email/physical address at all.  Have you seen how people would make rude comments on YouTube?  I don’t even see any rude comments made on this video you want put down.  In fact, I’ll make it a point to delete them if they did show up.

Which brings me to this next question:

2. What exactly does “relation to my video” mean?  Have you not considered that even if a non-gay person posted that same video, Boris will probably still get harassed?

Unfortunately, because I am a gay man, I am for some reason directly responsible for Boris’ sufferings of harassment from gay men.  Because, as we all know, not only do I personally know every gay man in the world, I must also control what they can say, hear, feel, and do.

I am deleting the video not because you feel that it is causing the “strong” man emotional harm (does his email program have a “delete” function?).  Realize that he is in the public eye and he will be criticized and commented on — and not just by gay men.

I am deleting it because your personal friend is nothing but an intolerant person.

I get a lot of similar requests like these (polite emails, cloaked within a sea of hateful words), and I just want to vent about it because I can’t stomach such double-standards and hypocrisy any longer.  And, furthermore, I’m not apologizing for targeting Boris Haraldsson about it.

However, here are more photos of him.  Sure he’s hot and woofy on the outside.  Inside though.  Well, I think that I have commented enough about it.

P.S.: Attention all gay men: Send Boris lots and lots of fan mail.  We are The Collective.  We Must Comply.
